Thought I would try a sunset painting using soft pastels. I was at home for the weekend and wanted to do some art - I had the idea for this one after a recent sketching evening at Godrevy.
I have a couple of pastel sets, one by Sennellier and another by Rowney. I also have a selection of random makes and colours that I have collected over the years. I used a mixture of these in this painting.
I used a spare sheet of Fabriano Artistico paper measuring around 40cm x 30cm which I tacked to a drawing board for this one.
