Arrested for Kidnapping and Robbery in Medellin Colombia. Five individuals have been jailed for kidnapping and robbing a tour guide in Medellín. On April 28, the guide was contacted to give a tour to supposed Australian tourists. Upon arriving in El Poblado, he was picked up by a taxi, where he was threatened with knives and firearms and forced to hand over his belongings. One assailant, known as “Patrón,” ordered the guide to be beaten and robbed, and he was later dumped in the Guayabal neighborhood.

The attackers, identified as three Venezuelan women and two Colombian men, were captured by National Police officers from the Gaula unit. The court has imposed a security measure to detain them while the investigation continues.
