Recipe for 26 speculaas biscuits
Ingredients
• 400 g Mix for Authentic Speculaas
• 120 g cold dairy butter
• 1 egg
Directions
1. Put the Mix in a bowl. Cut the butter into chunks and add them to the bowl. Finally, add the egg.
2. Knead the mixture by hand until you get a firm and homogeneous dough.
3. Wrap the dough in cling film and leave to rest in the fridge for 30 minutes.
4. Sprinkle the worktop with flour. Remove the dough from the fridge. Roll out to a thickness of 0,5 cm. Use a cookie cutter to cut out biscuit shapes.
4. Bake the biscuits for approx. 16 minutes in a preheated oven at 170 °C.
Tip: you can also make soft speculaas biscuits with this mix.
