As part of Western Air's future plans for growth/expansion, They have finally joined the Jet age. This makes Western Air the second airline in the Bahamas (First being Bahamasair) to acquire jets. They currently have two 145s based in Freeport, Grand Bahama. They have not started scheduled jet service as yet, but REX has been cleared to perform training flights. This video is about REX's first visit (and turnaround) to Nassau. It was a training flight between MYNN and MYGF.
C6-KID was the only active Saab in Nassau that day. I was hoping to get KID and REX in the same shot, but that will come in due time.
C6-REX was previously under the registration of N284SK. It was acquired from Chautauqua Airlines.

He was the copilot on the Saab departing in this video. He has also been helpful regarding updates on the jets.
