Join our dancers from Dancing Forth - the Scottish Show in 2010 at a Grand Ball with a selection of dances from the North East.
Findlater Castle, now a ruin, was built in the 16th Century and was the home of the Ogilvies; Craigievar Castle at Alford is the ancestral home of the Forbes clan; the ghostly and haunting sound of The Phantom Piper is sometimes heard around the ruins of Gight Castle, Aberdeenshire.
Findlater Castle and Craigievar were both devised by Bill Forbes, The Phantom Piper was devised by Barry Priddey.
Dancers: Members of RSCDS Edinburgh Demonstration Team
Musicians: Pete Clark (fiddle), Iain Fraser (fiddle), Wendy Weatherby (cello) and James Gray(piano)
