The Belgian Federal Prosecutor's Office makes a statement giving more details of the shootout which took place in the Forest neighborhood of Brussels yesterday (15 March).
One police officer was injured on his ear right under his helmet, and another was injured when his gun was hit by a bullet.
The prosecutor also confirmed that a suspect killed by police was an Algerian man living illegally in Belgium.
