If the Cubs could work out a contract extension, I’d love this hypothetical trade for Vladimir Guerrero Jr . Michael Busch has a ton of control, Cade Horton has a high ceiling, and Bellinger is solid. However, Horton’s prospect status doesn’t mean he’s a future Cy Young winner, Busch’s ceiling is lower than Vlad’s, and Bellinger is expensive. There is more to this for context BUT the Cubs NEED to do something to shake this roster up. I love this idea.
