The Higher Polytechnic School of Engineering encompasses the technical studies of the University of La Laguna. It currently offers five undergraduate degrees: Nautical and Maritime Transport, Marine Technologies, Civil Engineering, Agricultural and Rural Engineering and Technical Architecture. In addition, several official Masters related to these degrees are taught. The school has three sites located in La Laguna and Santa Cruz de Tenerife, where students have all the necessary resources to be trained both theoretically and, above all, practically. The studies offered are committed to the demands of society and business in an increasingly international environment.
The degree in Agricultural and Rural Engineering has a generalist character that allows the graduate to enter the labor market within the wide range of activities that the Agricultural Engineer currently performs, while allowing him/her to acquire an adequate degree of specialization within the field of agricultural and livestock farms.
