I'm sure plenty of you have had to go through the horrible process of re-scanning in your library after an upgrade or you just needed to nuke your existing install as something you installed had slowed it down to snail pace. After the event I'm sure just like me you think to yourself "why didn't I just backup my library first!", well that's a very good question.
