The Cardiff Devils are Delighted to announce the signing of Ryan Penny for the 2022/23 Elite League season.

Penny, is not new to league, having played for the Coventry Blaze last season. In 64 games played across all competitions, Penny put up 17 goals, and 24 assists, for 41 points.

A 2-way versatile player, who can play centre and left wing adds real depth to the Devils roster.

Prior to coming to the Elite League, Penny spent time in the Usports league for McGill University. Prior to that, he spent much time in the East Coast Hockey League, for the Reading Royals and Evansville IceMen. On both occasions earning call ups to the American Hockey League; Binghamton Senators and Binghamton Devils.

Weighing in at 87Kg, and standing at 183cm, the left shooting forward adds depth and versatility to the Devils lineup. able to play top line minutes or move down the lineup.
