This video shows one of TrentBarton's Solar buses on the 'Skylink Express' route heading towards Nottingham from East Midlands Airport, running non-stop along the A453 before calling at Clifton, for interchange with the Nottingham Express Transit tram system. The featured stop is the relatively new East Midlands Gateway development.
663 served on the Rainbow 1 route when new, before being transferred to Skylink Nottingham, and now, along with veteran former Rainbow 5 (now Indigo) 625 (FJ03 VWM) [now scrapped] and sister ex-Rainbow 1 662 (FN54 AEZ) is branded for the Express route instead. By 2021, this route was the last to run branded Solars, with even the 'spare' pool of this particular bus type having diminished substantially, when compared to the near 100-strong figure that existed at the peak of its time with TrentBarton.
