The Harlequin Theatre Northwich performance dates 26th to 29th February by kind permission of Samuel French. This is the latest version translated and adapted by Alistair Beaton form the original by Nikolai Gogol.
The play was first performed in 1836 under the patronage of Emperor Nicholas 1st at The St Petersburg National Theatre.
