Here's a clip from 8pm on Monday 24/10/05, the day that Sky News got it's biggest ever on-screen relaunch to date. This involved them moving out of their old studio into a brand new state of the art multi million pound newsroom. It also involved an unsuccessful relaunch of the schedule, programmes included The Sky Report, Sky News Today anchored by 3 newsreaders and shown here World News Tonight.
WNT was fronted by James Rubin (a former advisor to Bill Clinton apparently) and sounded more like Jon Culshaw doing his George W.Bush impression. The whole programme felt slow and no shock it was axed (along with The Sky Report and the '3 anchors') about 9 months later.
I still feel to this day this short lived look was the classiest Sky News had, if not the neatest.
