In this journey we explore the rugged beauty of the Torridon region and get pushed to our physical and technical limits, trying to complete this demanding mountain bike loop.
Prepare to be captivated by the breath-taking scenery as we traverse through the magnificent Scottish Highlands. The Torridon Lollipop Route is renowned for its technical terrain, steep climbs, chunky, technical descents, and jaw-dropping views, making it a must-ride for any mountain biking enthusiast seeking an unforgettable experience. At nearly 40km long with 1500m of climbing, this truly is one of Scottish MTBs toughest challenges.
Throughout the video I try to film and commentate ensuring both seasoned riders and newcomers alike can appreciate the incredible challenge this route offers. From rocky sections to natural slab-rides, we'll navigate the diverse landscape, showcasing the amazing Torridon Lollipop.
As we progress along the Torridon Lollipop Route, I'll share my thoughts and emotions, highlighting the physical and mental challenges that come with conquering such a demanding route. It is an incredible route that definitely almost broke me.
The highlights for me were the Annat Descent and the Achnashellach Descent. Both these descents are Torridon MTB classics in their own right.
