In 1965, 21-year-old Canadian Paul Saltzman drove to Mississippi to help disadvantaged sharecroppers register to vote. He was viciously assaulted by a young KKK Klansman. In 2007, he returned to find his assailant—to explore if individual reconciliation was possible. He found him and they've had a 5-year dialogue, on film.
