Below I’ve attached a list of FAQ’s as well as my yelp / google review.
FAQ answered:
1. Is everyone a good candidate? NO! That’s why it’s important to go to a doctor that will be HONEST with you and not just try to take your money.
2. How much do they shave down your teeth? I’ve seen other videos online where they destroy your normal structure. I would NEVER go with a doctor like that. Dr. Connelly simply created enough space, to put the veneer on top of my regular teeth. His method is to preserve as much natural tooth as possible. He does NOT shave them down like the horror stories you see online.
3. Difference in color of your regular teeth? YES HUGE difference, that was the point of my veneers and my desired smile ;) and that’s why I got a full set- so that any visible teeth look beautiful & white! You CAN match the new veneer to your current teeth if you just structurally need veneers. I wanted the hollywood glamour smile, so we went for a complete upgrade in color.
4. How do you keep them so white? Porcelain veneers will not stain :) . They stay beautiful & white! Another reason why I wanted them, I drink coffee everyday.
5. Time frame from start to finish? This could look different for everyone depending on what you need. I had a full set top & bottom of custom veneers created so that would take longer than someone who needed only top. Or only a few. Expect about 3 months. So start the process as soon as you can!
6. Can you bite into things? Do you feel limited? I am not limited at all! These feel like my natural teeth! (I think people get confused with the temporary phase, when you’re in the temporary phase you have to eat soft foods because they can come out. Once you get your permanents you are GOOD to go!)
7. How do you know if you have a good doctor? Now having gone through this experience, I could not even imagine going with a doctor who I didn’t have personal ties to. I had multiple friends that used Dr. Connelly so I knew I could fully trust him. The appointments are long, and they’re doing a ton of “scary” work to your teeth IMO, so having someone that didn’t have personal ties to me, I would NOT have felt safe & confident. I’ve seen so many horror stories of doctors who do veneer cases on the side, and sometimes it just doesn’t go as planned- sometimes it’s not even all the doctors fault. Dr. Connelly ONLY does veneers. All day and night. On everyone you see that’s on camera, in the music industry, modeling industry, tv, commercial, so truly he is an expert at what he does.
8. Have you ever regretted it? Ummm have you seen my before and afters? Not even for one second. BEST decision I ever made.
9. How do I get started? Book a consult, express what you don’t like about your smile, what your desired result is, and see what the prescribed plan would be & go from there.
