Jetzt, da es endlich nicht mehr so heiß in meiner Drechselbude ist und auch etwas Zeit war, habe ich eine einfache Platte aus Platanenholz gedrechselt. Der Durchmesser beträgt etwa 33cm. Platanenholz ist ziemlich hart, musste meine Röhren ein paar mal nachschleifen.
It is finally not so hot in my woodturning shop and I had some time to turn a simple plate of plane wood. The diameter is about 33cm/13inches. Plane wood is quite hard, I had to regrind my tools a few times.
