Trinamool Congress on Tuesday announced to take out a ‘shobha yatra’ in Howrah on the occasion of Ram Navami on Wednesday. The announcement came as Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing a rally in Bengal’s Balurghat, attacked chief minister Mamata Banerjee for “trying to obstruct BJP’s Ram Navami’s plan and opposing CAA”.

PM Modi said that the TMC, “like always” tried to stop Ram Navami programme in Bengal. “But the court has given permission, and tomorrow everyone will celebrate shobha yatra,” he added.
