YS Jagan shares his father’s vision for an Andhra that will be equal and inclusive. In the last three years of YSRCP rule, Jagan Mohan Reddy has worked tirelessly to bring to life that dream of Andhra, to bring back the promised Rajanyarajam. Through his welfare schemes, he has directly benefited huge masses and uplifted the most downtrodden sections. Much like his father YSR, Jagan has proved to be a Messiah of the masses, standing strong with the common people.
The TDP rule had brought great misery upon the masses, and in 2019, people voted for a change.
Jagan understood the suffering of the people and promised a government that would work for them. Jagan has worked with an inclusive vision of Andhra, having a well-balanced Cabinet with representation from marginalised communities, women and youth. The nine promises of Navaratnalu show that YSRCP is committed to people’s welfare.
Jagan has not only promised but delivered on his promises!
Despite the Covid hit, Jagan has completed 90% of his election promises. The implementation of decentralised administration, welfare schemes, institutions, and employment opportunities has made Jagan's government more accessible to people and alleviated the distress of disadvantaged sections. Women’s security has been enhanced by bringing in a special law (Disha Act), other policing initiatives, and curbing alcohol consumption.
Despite Covid harming most states’ economies, Andhra Pradesh has improved its GSDP by Rs. 77,000 crores (as of 2021) under JMR’s leadership. During the three years of his leadership, the state has seen considerable improvements in all the major sectors and has benefited all sections of Andhra Pradesh.
Jagan has increased the budget for almost all the sectors and has come up with schemes for all sections of society. He has introduced first-of-its-kind schemes like Ammavodi, which have encouraged women to send their children to schools, thereby reducing the school dropout rate. In the educational sector, he has implemented multiple other schemes like Jagananna Vidya Deevena, Jagananna Vasathi Deevena, or Nadu Nedu, which have increased the GER(Gross Enrollment Ratio) of Andhra Pradesh.
Schemes like Rythu Bharosa have helped even the most vulnerable farmers by recognising tenant farmers. Arogyasri has given people access to quality healthcare. Through schemes like YSR Asara, YSR Cheyutha, and YSR Kapuneshtam Jagan has provided assistance to women from minority communities. He has provided free housing, loans, and cash benefits to disadvantaged sections of the society. Many other schemes have been implemented by the YSRCP government that are welfare-oriented in nature.
The success of Jagan’s model of development has set an example for governments of states like Delhi, Telangana, Odisha, and Punjab, who have implemented similar schemes to ensure inclusive and equitable development of their people. Jagan has set a nationwide example of good governance.
In the 2024 elections, the people will stand with their beloved leader.
Andhra needs to stand with its people again !
