Onel de Guzman, a college student from Manila, Philippines, created and released the first global computer virus pandemic that disrupted the operations of businesses and government agencies all over the world, from Ford and Merrill Lynch to the Pentagon, CIA and the British Parliament. It was estimated to have caused between US$5.5–8.7 billion in damages worldwide.

In this episode, we’ll talk about, what is considered, the most virulent virus of all time: the Loveletter For You computer virus. Also known as the iloveyou virus or the love bug computer virus.
