Hello friends, in this video we will make metadinitobenzene by the nitration of nitrobenzene

The process involves nitrating the nitrobenzene with nitrating mixture (mix of conc.H2SO4 and conc.HNO3) and then crashing out the solid product by pouring the contents to ice cold water. Then the compound was recrystallised from ethyl alcohol.
