Hello friends, today in this video we will give you the latest update of USBRL project. Railways has successfully started operating railway trains on 48 km new section out of 111 km.
What is usbrl project
USBRL Project udhampur Srinagar Baramulla Railway Line is a project of rail line which aims to completely connect Kashmir Valley from Jammu to different major cities of India.
The world's highest railway bridge has also been completed. Asia's largest railway tunnel has also been built in Let us tell you all that Yes USBRL Project has currently reached Katra in Jammu and Kashmir and is running fully from Banihal to Baramulla.
In this, it is not able to connect with Banihal of Ramban and Katra city of Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir, which the company is fully engaged in connecting and now its another area is completely ready.
Katra is a distance of 111 kilometers from Banihal area. Now its distance has been reduced by about 50 kilometers because the Railways has started the Successful trial here.
Now a small part of it i.e. 61 kilometers is left which is about 80 to 90% completely complete in this project. It has the world's highest railway bridge, India's first cable-stayed railway bridge and Asia's largest railway tunnel.
