One in four women experience intimate partner violence in their lifetime, and those in the Jewish community are no exception. Project DVORA is a lifeline for survivors of all genders who turn to JFS, providing safe housing, emotional and financial support, legal counsel, and funding for therapy, so that they may heal and rebuild their lives. Project DVORA also works to end the cycle of violence with an outreach program that educates the Jewish community, particularly youth, to recognize and foster healthy relationships.
