Cycling Singapore to Malacca, we took 2D1N 230km.
Our first multiday cycling trip in Malaysia.
Proud of our milestone, ready to explore further!

Rolling at easy 20 to 23kmh.
1st night Batu Pahat (BP) (130km, 11 hours)
2nd night Malacca (100km, 8 hours reach Hotel)
3rd day coach back.

8:12 *Last 20km (After DIY Senggarang GPS 1.748968, 103.052226) towards Batu Pahat, expect roller coaster slopes. Road is narrow and vehicles fast. Ride safe!

10:55 100km Melaka marker (Volkswagen Batu Pahat). We are only 2km from Hotel.
11:08 Hotel Submit Batu Pahat (roll our bikes into room)

11:31 Day 2 Roll off 0830. Sultan Crown opposite Hotel
12:35 Shady roads are always welcomed
13:16 Daily Happy Otak Otak (famous Otah in Muar). Go back lane for retro 2-storey building
13:48 Lunch at random mamak kopitiam. Food does not look appealing but taste good!
14:06 Muar Cultural street (a lot of animation wall murals!). Muar 麻坡 is happening!
15:11 Muar clock tower
15:16 Famous Bridge over Muar River (there is a dark history!)
16:08 Giant Rickshaw (boundary between Johor and Melaka)
16:30 Slopes again before enter town (less tedious compared to BP)
17:25 10km from Melaka downtown. Sudden downpour! (15 mins)
18:18 Reached Hatten Hotel. We extended 50min of cycling to cover Melaka river
18:50 Famous Melaka River (Cycle South from Jalan Baru road (GPS 2.198861, 102.248726).
20:30 Exit river near Church of St. Francis Xavier, and cycle towards Melaka Red Square
21:14 *打卡 Photos galore at Stadthuys. Packed with tourists.
22:09 Jonker Walk eat cendol. Massage at Wang Yan Foot Reflexology

22:40 Day 3 Bak Ku Teh nourishment (Shan Cheng 山城 )
22:54 Going HOME!
