In face of mounting opposition anger at the cancellation of local election results, Serb authorities have gone on the counter-attack organizing a series of pro-government rallies.
In several Serbian towns, local branches of President Slobodan Milosevic's ruling Socialist Party (SPS) held pro-government demonstrations condemning opposition leaders as "servants and subjects of the West and enemies of Serbia."
