Starting young from a desperate need to fit in with whomever he surrounded himself with. In high school his use starts to progress from pot to alcohol. His drug of choice was really whatever everyone else wanted to do. To feel better about his progressive addiction he surrounded himself with people who were worse off. After days of binge using crack cocaine, his father tries to get him help. His first step into recovery at 19 years old was a struggle. He did not think he was addicted to the substances he was abusing. After his girlfriend overdoses on heroin, it scares him into maintaining his sobriety. When he decides to go into the marines, his life changes for both the good and bad. Watch part 2 to see how Corey tries to not mess up his future.
