Pancreatic pseudocyst can form as a complication of acute or chronic pancreatitis. The fluid which accumulates in the cyst contains strong pancreatic juices and it compresses the stomach causing abdominal pain, vomiting, early satiety after eating food.
Laparoscopic surgery is very safe and effective. It involves draining the cyst either into the stomach or the intestines.
