The good news is that the arctic air that has been over the U.S. for about two weeks looks like it may finally be weakening. The bad news is that before it goes, it will continue to promote a major ice/snowstorm through the southern states that will push up through the Ohio Valley, and finally bring impacts to the northeast. Key features we'll be looking at will be who is getting the most snow, who will be getting the ice, when will all this be taking place, and when will that cold air leave. The key states that we'll be diving into include California, Washington, Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, West Virginia, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York.
