Indian Army has thwarted the Chinese attempt to carry out "provocative military movements to change the status quo" on the southern bank of the Pangong Tso Lake area in eastern Ladakh on the intervening night of August 29-30.
Indian Army sources revealed that its troops have strengthened positions on the heights at northern and southern bank of Pangong Tso to put pressure on the Chinese PLA.
