This test is part of a research program at the Faculty of Forestry at UBC on the performance of Timber-Concrete-Composite floor systems. The clip shows the failure of a 6m long floor segment made of Laminated-Strand-Lumber and a concrete layer with Self-Tapping-Screws used as shear connector. The floor failed when loaded with approximately 10 times the anticipated service load which a typical floor is designed for in practice.
