How can we open demat account? It's about things like that. Demat account is very important thing to know in stock market so watch the video till end. Usually we all have a savings bank account where we keep all our money in this account, like a savings account where we can deposit, withdraw and keep money whenever we need, demat accounts are accounts for keeping the stocks or shares that we buy from the stock market. In 1996, non-demat account in India was started in NSE and till then we used to get stocks in the form of a paper certificate after buying shares. Now when we buy a share we can not see it in paper form but the certificate of this share is converted into digital material and we keep it in demat account in digital form. We get its details through email and also we can see it on stock brokers mobile app or computer so how much the share we are holding has gone up and down. We can quickly understand the price we have bought and so on. So in the stock market

Demat account is a must for anyone who wants to invest. All demat accounts in India seem to be under the control of two people. National Securities Depository Limited called NSDL and Central Depository Services Limited called CDSL. But in these nsdl cdsl we cannot directly go and open a demat account. We can open account only through any stockbroker or through banks. In just 5 or 10 minutes, you can open a demat account online using your mobile. Along with opening a demat account, most stock brokers also give us a trading account for trading in the stock market for free. I have provided the link of various brokers for opening demat account in the script where you can open an account with your preferred broker. Also whether it is possible to transfer shares from one demat account to another broker's demat account. Of course it can but not very easily. The truth is. Similarly, a doubt that many people have is whether demat accounts have charges. Transferring our stocks to demat account and making our call back takes seconds, but there are many legal procedures involved, stamp duty and other charges for which we are charged a fee. Most brokers charge 20 rupees for transferring a company's stock to demat account and 20 rupees for recall.
