How I clean COINS found on the BEACH

Slow tumbling with stainless steel jewelers media works best for both crusty coins and ocean crusted jewelry. Slow tumbling prevents damage to the item . I use water and toilet cleaner or CLR as they remove a lot of the calcium, lime and rust deposits. I treasure hunt with a Minelab Equinox 800 with the 15" coil.
