Sirobagad, July 26 (ANI): The yatra to the Badrinath, Kedarnath and Hemkund Sahib was disrupted after Rishikesh-Badrinath highway was closed due to landslides triggered by heavy rains in Rudraprayag's Sirobagad. The Rishikesh-Badrinath highway was blocked due to debris brought down by continuous landslides. The shut down of the highway has left many pilgrims stranded and they are now waiting for the roads to open. The Public Works Department is engaged in the clearance work but is facing problems due to continuous falling of stones and rock particles.
