Ingredients
500g Black eyed beans
250g Rice (you can use any rice you prefer, I prefer the Jasmine Perfumed Rice)
4-6 Waakye leaves (millet leaves)
2 tablespoons cream coconut
400ml organic coconut milk (you can use any coconut milk you prefer. I prefer using organic ingredients for healthy meals)
1 tablespoons salt (I prefer the Himalayan pink salt)
Trussing thread (also known as butchers twine to tie up the Waakye leave (this is optional but will make your cooking simpler)
4 litres of drinking water (I use alkaline water)
Side Dishes To Go With Your Waakye
Any salad of your choice
Spaghetti
Gari Fortor
Kelewele or Fried Plantain
Green Chilli Sauce
Shito
Waakye Sauce
Any Protein of your choice such as mixed meat, boiled egg, fish, etc
