In the latest developments concerning the custodial death of Birbhum violence accused Lalan Sheikh, 2 CBI officers have been suspended till the probe is underway. The officials have been charged with negligence and leaving the accused in the custody of Sheikh with a constable. The state High court had earlier permitted the CID to probe the death of Lalan Sheikh who allegedly died by suicide while he was in CBI's custody.
