I have an epson stylus photo 1400 ink jet printer that needs fixing. I'm not exactly sure what is wrong with it, but my 1 year old son was pressing the power button on/off a number of times, and then a loud grinding noise started, with both the paper/ink buttons blinking in red simultaneously.

The only thing I have read is that the blinking lights indicates a fatal error and that possibly the wasted ink sponges are full and need to be replaced, but that does not explain the loud grinding noise. Please help!
