DRYING OUT TODAY; SUNDAY IS OUR WEEKEND'S BEST
We'll dry out from yesterday's rain as the spring storm system departs off to the northeast. A cooler but less breezy wind will provide enough subsidence or drying to allow skies to become a bit brighter as we head later in the day. Temperatures which are starting off in the 30s will only manage their way in the upper 40s later this afternoon.
As a Canadian high pressure sinks across the Midwest, winds will ease up considerably and lead to a fairly nice and seasonal Saturday with daytime highs around the lower 50s.
But its still Sunday that takes the cake temperature wise this weekend. Strong southerly winds blowing ahead of our next spring storm system will send the mercury into the lower 60s under mostly sunny skies.
In fact, we'll extend those same temperatures on into Monday before an increasing chance of showers and thunderstorms push in. The aftermath of this system is still expected to bring down some much cooler temperatures for the rest of the next week with highs dropping in the 40s.
