Quick video on installing Speedplay cleats for road shoes. I am putting speedplay cleats on my new Specialized S-works 7 Road Shoes and I learned a few things while struggling through this process. Throwing speedplay cleats on these shoes should have taken about 10 minutes, but one of the threads on the base plate was not ready for action. So I had to take off the speedplay cleat 3x before I finally got everything right. One big protip is to not overtighten the small phillips screws as you install as that pinches the spring mech (I think) and makes it very difficult to engage threads. Soooo when installing speedplay cleats, I encourage you to slow down and get it right the first time.

Since this video I have ridding indoors with the new s-works 7 shoes and to be honest, I do not like them at all. I am thinking I will be selling these on ebay soon. They just hit my ankle and foot ALL WRONG. I'll likely go back to sidi despite the weight difference. Le Sigh!
