In this video we're snowboarding in Mammoth mountain California on one of the best powder days of the season. We arrived in Mammoth during a snow storm and we've been waiting for some of the alpine chairlifts to open. We started the day by doing a few hikes into a powder zone and snowboarding down some open faces and tree runs. I got to ride my first ever two seated chairlift with no bar. Then in the afternoon chair 14 on the backside opened and we we a couple of the best powder snowboarding laps of our lives. The upper section of the run was an wide open section to spray snow and ride with speed. The lower section had a great cat track to spin off of and land in untouched powder that continued though trees. The tree snowboarding through powder was incredible and felt like it would never end. We are super happy to experience what Mammoth mountain is like at it best. I'm also stoked to be able to put the T Rice Pro snowboard to the test in powder.
