The 1911 is an enduring firearm platform, but it has never stagnated. Proof of that is the existence of double-stack 1911s or high-capacity 1911s, usually chambered in 9mm but still retaining the oh-so-good egos of the original 1911. This year, we got to see a number of great double-stack 1911s, but I wanna feature first those that struck me the most (in a good way, of course).
