Every online student at American University has the optional opportunity to visit the campus in Washington, D.C., for the DC Experience, a two-day networking and professional development event.

The D.C. Experience allows online students to connect with their peers and the AU faculty face to face, forming a strong network that they can pull from while exploring their chosen field and future career choices.

During these two days, online students have the opportunity to attend hands-on professional workshops, presentations, offsite field trips and private events like campus tours, all while experiencing the nation’s capital.
