Preston striker Milutin Osmajic has been given an eight-match ban and has been fined £15,000 for biting Blackburn defender Owen Beck.
The incident took place in a Sky Bet Championship match between the two Lancashire clubs at Deepdale on 22 September which ended in a goalless draw.
Blackburn boss John Eustace said in his post-match news conference at the time: "[Beck's] got a big bite mark on the back of his neck.

Back in September, Osmajic sank his teeth into Beck, who is on-loan at Ewood Park from Liverpool this season. Whilst he was the victim in biting incident, it was Beck who was sent off during Blackburn and Preston's clash when he kicked out at Duane Holmes in the final seconds of their Championship match.
The left-back was furious officials had missed the bite from the Montenegro international. However, while Osmajic somehow escaped being sent off during the game which finished 0-0, he has since been charged by the FA.

Footage live on Sky Sports showed Osmajic charing into Beck - nephew to Liverpool legend Ian Rush - before biting him in the back.
Beck was shown red for initially kicking out at American midfielder Duane Holmes - sparking Osmajic's raging reaction.
And despite Beck pointing towards the bite mark and the subsequent replays, Osmajic was only shown yellow.
The Montenegrin forward escaped an initial ban and played Preston's next two games - scoring in his most recent match against Watford.

Montenegrin striker Osmajic had initially been fouled by Todd Cantwell, and Beck caught Holmes when attempting to clear the ball. Osmajic got to his feet and grabbed Beck under the arms before appearing to make contact with his opponent's neck, with his face.
Beck was then seen telling referee Matthew Donohue 'he bit me'. Following investigation, Osmajic has now received his punishment in a ban and a fine.

The incident came after Beck was sent off for kicking out at Preston’s Duane Holmes in the closing stages of a fiery Lancashire derby.
A melee followed and Beck was seen protesting to referee Matthew Donohue that Osmajic, who received a yellow card, had bitten him.

The FA charged the 25-year-old last month and Osmajic admitted biting Beck on the neck around the 87th minute of the match.
"An independent Regulatory Commission imposed his sanctions following a hearing. Its written reasons will be published in due course," FA said in a statement.
