అసంపూర్తి నీటి పారుదల ప్రాజెక్టులకు పెట్టింది పేరు, ఉమ్మడి పాలమూరు జిల్లా. పనులు ప్రారంభమై దశాబ్దాలు గడుస్తున్నా ఇప్పటికీ పూర్తి ఆయకట్టుకు సాగునీరు అందని దుస్థితి పాలమూరు జిల్లా ప్రాజెక్టులది. అలాంటి ప్రాజెక్టుల్లో ఒకటి నెట్టెంపాడు ఎత్తిపోతల పథకం. 2005లో పరిపాలన అనుమతులు పొంది, పనులు మొదలై 20ఏళ్లు గడుస్తున్నా...ఇప్పటికీ లక్షిత ఆయకట్టు 2లక్షల ఎకరాలకు సాగునీరు అందడం లేదు.ప్రభుత్వాలు మారుతున్నాయి. ప్రాజెక్టు అంచనా వ్యయాలు పెరిగిపోతున్నాయి. ఏటా ప్రభుత్వానికి నెట్టెంపాడుపై వినతులు వెల్లువెత్తుతూనే ఉన్నాయి. అయినా పూర్తి కావాల్సిన పనుల పరిస్థితి మాత్రం ఎక్కడ వేసిన గొంగళి అక్కడే అన్న చందంగా మారుతోంది. కనీసం కాంగ్రెస్ హయాంలోనైనా పూర్తి చేయాలనే డిమాండ్లు వెల్లువెత్తుతున్నాయి.
