🌎 The East Lancashire Railway is home to the oldest locomotive shed in the world that still operates in it's original use at their site at Buckley Wells.
🚂 They have plans to restore and expand this important site and create a national centre for the maintenance and restoration of heritage locomotives which will have an important impact on our local economy and I will be supporting them as they seek to acquire the required funds.
🔑 Heritage rail is a key part of our culture, heritage and economy and today I spoke about how the ELR does all that for us here in Bury.
