PLO leader Yasser Arafat reacted sharply and strongly on Sunday
(25/2) to the bomb blasts in Jerusalem and Ashkelon.
Across Israel, following the blasts, security was immediately
boosted.
In Ramallah, on the West Bank, security forces responded quickly
by tightening up their surveillance.
