Teenagers in São Paulo are rioting over public transportation and traffic. The traffic problem and the fare increases for public transportation had gotten to the point that teens staged a peaceful march that ended in the protestors being beaten. The struggle has stayed largely out of the media's attention.
How did it get to that point, and what does this show about what people are willing to stand against in foreign countries, vs what we just take in the United states? Ana Kasparian and John Iadarola (TYT University) discuss.
