Brazil's president-elect Lula da Silva arrived at Cop27 on Tuesday (15 November), ahead of his planned appearance at the climate summit.

Footage shows people gathering to take pictures and welcome Mr da Silva in the resort town of Sharm el-Sheikh.

The president-elect has tweeted that he wants to host Cop30 in 2025 in Brazil as two of his government's initiatives.
