This is how I make the Delicious Sri Lankan Puttu Babath Meal. The Secret and the Freshness of all with the Freshly Made Homemade Curry Powder and the Freshly Pan Roasted Plain Flour. The Taste would be unbelievable and of course the the smell would be divine. From my childhood I have seen making Puttu Babath at home very often. The difference only would be the shape of the Puttu. Ingredients for Babath (Tripe) Curry:
Coconut Oil - 2 Tbsp
Fenugreek Seeds - 1/2 Tsp
2 Onions, finely chopped for a Thick Curry
Chopped Ginger Garlic - Each 1- 1/2 Tbsp
Some Pandan & Curry leaves
1-2 Lemongrass, crushed
Few Green Chillis
Salt as per taste
Freshly Squeezed Tamarind, 3 Tbsp
Homemade Curry powder & Chilli, as needed
Water as needed
Coconut Milk
Tripe Cleaned & Boiled with Salt Turmeric, couple of Brindle Berry(Goraka) & a touch of Homemade Curry powder (if required)
