I recently purchased Creality Ender 3 3D printer from Banggood.com and I have a few issues with the printer. One of which I can not figure out is the Extruder stepper skipping steps.
If you have already solved this problem, please suggest a solution. Thanks in advance.
UPDATE:
I realized that in a bowden tube, there is a lot of pressure build up for pushing the filament thru it. The hot end fan is constantly on, so I figured that there is a pressure buildup in the extruder causing the skipped steps. I bumped up the hot end temperature by 5C, and I do not notice any skipped steps in the extruder. Problem solved!
There are other problems to solve, but not this one :)
UPDATE 2:
I designed and printed this spool holder to avoid filament tension to the extruder. Now with a full spool, I avoid those skinny layers in my prints (caused by unnoticed extruder skip).
