NECA and the IBEW are of the mind that college campuses contain the best source of top talent for the next generation of the electrical construction industry. For that reason, they’ve created student chapters at numerous colleges and universities to introduce young engineers, construction management students and others studying for a career in construction to the Powering America Team.

At Penn State University, its NECA Student Chapter is a perfect example of what this new outreach is meant to accomplish. With the support of the Penn-Del-Jersey Chapter of NECA and the Western Pennsylvania NECA Chapter, the Penn State Student Chapter provides career direction, networking opportunities, real-world experience, and so much more to the students who belong.
